I said that with ease over mending a friend who was upset about the decision Lebron James has made over leaving Cleveland. He has been the top story since becoming a free agent, and everyone domestically has been anticipating where his move will be.
Mayor Bloomberg rallying New Yorkers in Taxi Cabs; welcoming Lebron into the city that never sleeps with the cheapest commercial whipped up. Come ‘on Bloomberg you could have lashed out a few million for that one! New York Knicks NEED the help 1000%, but it’s monopolized with $$$ for good players. Hence why “We’re” the best (I am still a New Yorker for those shit talkers!)
Then the best silent torture of planting a large scaled photo of Jay-Z and Mikhail Prokhorov over a large building over looking MSG last week. The BEST! Nets couldn’t take it home to their new stadium soon to come in Brooklyn. Any TRUE New Yorker would have been happy with that! 15 minutes to Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn. I would ride the train in a minute back there!
Ironic how he is choosing Miami as his home and work. Just as I made the rash decision to do the same move a month ago. True is it’s a nice change, and a great place to call a home at this age. I’m not trying to compare myself to one of the greatest basketball players alive to date, but everyone is great at what they do. I know I am great at my work and my profession. I have achieved a great deal of experience and am honing those skills in a new environment.
Everyone needs to grow in their own way. Sometimes it is better to grow even more away from everything you have ever known. If you don’t leave the nest you will never experience life. Home sweet home is sweet for a reason, always nice to come back, but not the reality amongst real life.
