Miami Beach-December 2010- Miami born photographer Paisley Dee opens her exhibition for the second year during Art Basel Miami Beach 2010. She has spent much time traveling throughout South America and will be showcasing her work Las Caras Perdidas: The Lost Faces, which is a collection of prints taken of the indigenous and local people of Ecuador. Her images tell a story of humanity through people and their environment. The artist’s fascination with humanity and civilization evoke emotion and portray a life different to a world she lives in. In addition, Paisley Dee has shot all look-books for the organic luxury ready-to-wear line WISB*. Adjacent to Paisley’s exhibit will be the WISB* Pop-Up Shop which features the S/S 2011 collection, available via demi-couture, a capsule collection exclusively for Art Basel Miami Beach 2010. The shop will also contain one-of-a-kind accessories designed by WISB* and hand made by Haitian artisans as well as the BASIC* t-shirt collection, and the new WISB* men’s collection consisting of reworked vintage pieces. This is a not to be missed one stop Co-Op of art and fashion.
